Some companies have a halfway decent team and no clue about product other than sticking their logo on existing designs. Some companies go the extra mile and aren’t content unless they’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with BMX design. It’s the latter of these two types that are responsible for the fine quality BMX parts we have available today. No prizes for guessing that Odyssey fits the innovation mould (and has has a great team). Jim Bauer and Nuno Oliveira (along with Chris Costonas, George French and Jim C) are responsible for at least part of the reason Odyssey has been at the top of this game for over a decade.
